Fun Fix Entertainment, LLC had a concept of a clown puppeteer drawing which started as a point of reference. From rendering it into a vector format using Illustrator CS we added final touches to it in Photoshop CS. Next, the logo wording was created to be unique with it's own original font.
We designed and produced reusable unique plastic cards for admission tickets.
Original clown masks and the logo were produced on T-Shirts. As well as Energy Drinks, 2 vehicle wrappings and Signage.
TEXASTERROR.COM was produced to promote the haunt, but it was also used for traffic checks to gauge on monetary investments. The website included patrons that we filmed with an HD camera onsite and edited quickly which aired on YouTube and/online.
MARKETING METHODS
Texas Terror Haunted House was introduced to the public in the last week of September 2009 by radio ads on 94.5 the Buzz, 104 KRBE, HOT 95.7, 97.5 The Ticket and XO 107.9. With streaming radio and the web ads seen on the radio websites listeners were able to win VIP passes or receive discounts on tickets.
Every week we scheduled 2 radio stations on separate days to do a remote with their popular radio personalities for a few hours to hype the crowd and to influence listeners to come out to experience 60,000 square feet of horror.
We were listed on directory sites, Katy Chamber of Commerce eblasts to their database, a 15 Second Movie Trailer was seen in the Greater Houston Area movie theatres, the Texas Terror Hearse drove around to popular spots around town to be a mobil billboard and coupon cards were given in various community events.
We also managed the YouTube, Facebook and MySpace pages where we kept fans up-to-date on what was happening, responded to comments, shared videos and photos.
Overall, we were happy with the reports from Google Analytics which indicates a perspective on what forms of advertisements actually give a better ROI.
